Package D8: 8 Hour Annual Training
This package is one of the curriculum options eduGuard offers to comply with the State of California required Annual Training for Security Officers holding a current Guard Card.
III.M Preserving The Incident Scene - 4 Hours
The Preserving the Incident Scene course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the duties of a Security Officer should they be the first responders at a crime scene. The course will provide a basic framework for the security professional to ensure their actions do not jeopardize or impede the investigation being conducted by sworn peace officers. The focus of this course is how observing and reporting will aid in the investigation, while failing to preserve a scene can hinder and/or prevent a thorough investigation. This is a 4 hour course that counts towards the 8 hours of required annual training by the State of California.
III.N Crowd Control - 4 Hours
The Crowd Control course is designed to provide the learner with an intermediate understanding of the tools and techniques for effective crowd control. The focus of this course is on situations that a Security Officer might realistically encounter in the execution of their duties, such as strikes and flash mobs. The security professional will learn warning signs and appropriate interventions to protect life and their client’s property and assets. This is a 4 hour course that counts towards the 8 hours of required annual training by the State of California.
